Persuasions friends and fans Gallery

I am writing this message for my 9 year old daughter, Hannah. She first heard the Persuasions 4 years ago when I played her the Grateful Dead Songs (the flower CD) in the words of a 5 year old. We now play your latest live one and she loves it. We listen over and over again in the car. All my kids and their friends sing along and harmonize pretending they are the Persuasions. It is really something. Hannah will be 10 on November 18th and when I asked her what she wants for her birthday she says for the Persuasions to come to the party! You are her favorite band. Thanks for the music and the inspiration for a cappella in our lives. Sam

The drive up was pleasant and scenic, the greeting once we arrived, wonderful and the party, fantastic! It was Gail Herzog's family reunion, long time friend of the Persuasions. Photos were sent to us by Floyd Kucharski (seen here with "Sweet" Joe Russell) who also wrote a fine article about the day's events. That's Gail reminiscing with Jimmy Hayes, while later in the afternoon Jimmy and Jayotis serenade a youngster with their rendition of "On The Good Ship Lollipop." Additional photos of The P's with jazz/blues legend Maxine Brown, fan shot from I Phone of the P's on stage at The Beacon, post concert onstage get together with the ACtivators at Austin College in Texas and a benefit for Haiti concert with the What's Up Band at the Northeast Jewish Center  in Yonkers, New York. JUST ADDED: BIG PERSUASIONS FAN, HANNAH - SEEN HOLDING UP HER FAVORITE PERSUASIONS CD'S AND ALBUMS.

Lots of fun. The fans were great and the staff a pleasure to work with. A great venue to perform in. PHOTOS BY TOOTSIE RUSSELL.

Back in 2005 we recorded the U2 CD. Artis Christian sent us these photos recently. Thanks for the time capsule. It was a great series of sessions. Everyone worked really hard to make the project a success. Thanks Artis!

Just added new photos from Fur Peace Ranch taken by very good friend, Kinebrew. Took the long drive to see us. Much respect. Fur Peace workshop and performance was a big hit but most of all, got to see our friends. Big cheers to our class who were fantastic the way they have grown vocally. Our class has become more than a gig. We have all bonded and become good friends. Hope to see you all next year or at our concerts before then. Keep in touch!
